How to rotate or flip an image
Drop an image onto the box above (or click to choose a file). Use the rotate-left, rotate-right, and 180° buttons to turn it, or flip horizontal / vertical to mirror it — the preview updates instantly — then click Download PNG.
Fixing a sideways photo
Photos taken on a phone sometimes show up rotated. Tap rotate right or rotate left until it looks correct, then download — the saved file is baked in the right orientation, so it'll display correctly everywhere.
Questions
Is this rotate tool free?
Yes — completely free, with no account, no watermark, and no file-size limit. Rotation and flipping run in your browser using the Canvas API.
Do my images get uploaded to a server?
No. The whole process runs on your device, so your image never leaves your browser. That makes it instant and completely private.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Every rotation and flip is recomposed from the original image, so turning 90° then 180° (or flipping twice) never compounds any softness — the output stays as crisp as the source.
What's the difference between rotate and flip?
Rotate turns the whole image around its centre by a quarter, half, or three-quarter turn. Flip mirrors it — horizontal flip swaps left and right, vertical flip swaps top and bottom — without rotating it.
