How to blur an image
Drop an image onto the box above (or click to choose one). Set the blur amount with the slider. To blur the whole picture, just click Apply blur. To blur one spot, turn on "Blur a region only" and drag a box over it first, then apply and download.
Hiding sensitive details
Use region mode and a high blur amount over the face, plate, or text you want to hide. Because everything runs on your device, the sensitive image is never uploaded — which matters when you're censoring private information.
Questions
Is this blur tool free?
Yes — completely free, with no account, no watermark, and no file-size limit. The blur runs in your browser using the Canvas filter API.
Do my images get uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your device, so your image never leaves your browser. That makes it both private and instant — important when you're blurring something sensitive.
Can I blur just one part of the image?
Yes. Turn on "Blur a region only" and drag a box over the preview; only that rectangle is blurred while the rest stays sharp. It's ideal for hiding a face, a licence plate, or a line of text.
How strong can the blur be?
The slider goes from a light 1-pixel softening up to a heavy 60-pixel blur, so you can make a region completely unreadable when you need to.
