How to make a contact QR code

Fill in your name and any details you want to share — phone, email, organisation, title, website. The QR code updates live as you type. Download it as a PNG to add to a business card, email signature, or badge.

Why use one

Handing someone a QR code beats spelling out an email or phone number. They scan it, tap save, and your details land in their address book correctly — no typos, no re-entry.

Questions

What is a vCard QR code?
It encodes your contact details in the vCard format — the same standard used by address books and email signatures. Scanning the code opens a pre-filled contact card the person can save with one tap.
Are my contact details uploaded?
No. The vCard text and QR image are generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so you can safely make a code with a personal phone number or email.
Which fields should I fill in?
Any combination works — at minimum a name. Adding phone, email, organisation, job title, and website makes the saved contact more complete. Empty fields are simply left out of the code.
