For a right triangle the hypotenuse c = √(a² + b²) (Pythagoras), the area = ½ × a × b, and the perimeter adds all three sides. With legs 3 and 4: c = 5, area = 6, perimeter = 12.

Questions

How do I find the hypotenuse of a right triangle?
Use the Pythagorean theorem: the hypotenuse equals the square root of (leg a squared plus leg b squared). For legs 3 and 4, the hypotenuse is √(9 + 16) = √25 = 5.
